Almost Home Dog Rescue seeks a home for Lilibet

Lilibet, the nearly seven-year-old Shar-Pei, is looking for a home that can meet all of her needs after a difficult start to life.

She is currently a resident of Almost Home Dog Rescue, Mold, after arriving at the pound despite having a chip.

Unfortunately, she showed signs that she had a litter or two and the rescue described her as a shy dog, although her confidence is growing and she is starting to love the outdoors. She loves her adventures and will need an active household.

Lil needs a special home, somewhere that understands his needs and is willing to work with Almost Home as a team.

Lil must be the only pet in the household and cannot be rehomed around children. She is fine and meets people and dogs, but at home she has to be a single pet.

Lili tends to guard things, like her bed and her food, however, the more she trusts you, this diminishes.

Almost Home said, “We have to find the person who is going to teach Lil that she is safe and we are not going to take away her refuge.

“This girl walks well and travels well. She is a star at the vet and has had a full health check, spayed and vaccinated. Lil is spotless in his kennel and doesn’t destroy his bed.

“This little girl has so much going for her, it’s a shame she’s been neglected due to a behavioral issue. It can be managed!
