The organization lives by its philosophy: “We don’t save them; they save us.
Reversed Rescue is a dedicated dog rescue operating as a non-profit organization since 2015. Dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected and abused dogs, they have rescued, rehomed, transported and rehabilitated hundreds of cases. They go out of their way to help fight ring/bait attack dogs, backyard breeding closures, neglect cases, cancers/serious medical treatment, shelter rescues, abandonments and Moreover.
The only small rescue at the moment, Reversed Rescue relies on donations from the public and sponsors of caring souls to help them with the onerous responsibilities of caring for all of their animals on a daily basis. They always welcome people who show up and become sponsors.
By sponsoring an animal, people are directly helping to feed, shelter and support animals in Reversed Rescue. Each animal they rescue has a unique story, encouraging every supporter to learn more about each one. Their Sponsor an Animal program is a work in progress, and they’re happy to show potential sponsors more interesting information via their Instagram page (@reversedrescue).
Tye Friis, the founder of Reversed Rescue, funded and built the facility previously located in downtown Los Angeles. It ran for nearly two years, but Friis moved the organization to his 10-acre ranch in Leona Valley, Calif., due to ever-changing city codes. It is a much better location as the expansion will be almost unlimited and its secluded nature provides a quiet and adequate place for rehabilitation. It also provides an area where the rescue can firmly put down its roots and grow for years to come.
Reversed Rescue plans to grow with community programs, a volunteer base, and rehabilitation training capabilities in this new location – not just for Reversed Rescue, but for many other rescues who also need help saving more. of animals. The team aims to be a driving force for the nonprofit rescue to bring California closer to “kill-free” territory and bring change for misunderstood races.
Everyone at Reversed Rescue works every day to save lives, and they couldn’t do it without the generosity and donations of their supporters. Every contribution to Reversed Rescue means help for homeless, neglected and abused dogs throughout California and beyond.
