The Rice Festival dog show was held Saturday at the Colleton Museum & Farmers Market in Walterboro. The dog show is a crowd favorite and part of the annual Rice Festival.
Sponsored by Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter, attendees were able to spot furry friends everywhere, dressed in their finery and ready to perform for the public. Some of the four-legged contestants were just there to socialize and see one of their own in the show. Dog parents enjoyed seeing the show and watching the handlers try to entice stubborn dogs to participate.
It was fun for all and some winners received ribbons for being the best of the others.
