Richland County Dog Shelter Needs Dog Food Donations

MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Richland County Dog Warden’s Office and Shelter said in a Facebook post Wednesday that it’s running out of dog food and may need a helping hand feeding the dogs of which he is responsible.

Dog food supplies are at the lowest point the agency has seen in at least 2019, according to the post. Currently, the shelter has welcomed an average of 70 to 80 dogs into the facility over the past few months.

“We would greatly appreciate any donations we could get! We prefer Pedigree and Purina, but the dogs aren’t too picky! the officials said in the post.

Donations can be mailed to Richland County Office and Dog Shelter, 810 N. Home Road, Mansfield, Ohio, 44906. The shelter has also set up an Amazon listing to make donation purchases easier. pet food. Click here for more information.

“Thank you all for the support you show our shelter and our dogs!” said the shelter.
