Last month, Stacey revealed how her beloved dog Theo died in her arms just after Christmas – leaving her totally heartbroken.

Posting a photo of the car to her Instagram Stories, Stacey told fans that she had been in touch with a woman at the dog rescue center about getting a new dog.

“I’ve been talking to the amazing lady at the dog shelter all day and now we’re off on a little late night adventure to meet a little furry baby who’s adopted and needs a home and our home. and our family could be a good match,” she captioned the post.

“We take peanuts and small pickles to meet him.”

She added, “I hope you are having a good Sunday.”

Stacey’s journey to dog rescue comes after she reveals an awe-inspiring sanctuary to her late dog.

The shrine sits under the sprawling magnolia tree in the backyard of his £1.2million Essex home.

She took video as she put down a candle and stones that had been placed in Theo’s old water bowl as she went to visit the garden grave.

She filmed showing the stunning plaque that had been placed where the sweet dog – who died in December aged 11 – was laid to rest.

“Our darling Theo, we’ve been so lucky to love you and we’ll never stop,” the emotional sign read. “Sweet dreams, Fifi. 2010 – 2021.”

Stacey continued filming showing the flowers she had laid, as well as the bench that had been placed next to the grave for her to “sit down and have a cup of tea”.

“We had a memorial plaque made for Theo,” the Loose Women star captioned the post. “She’s lying under the magnolia.

“The most beautiful tree in the garden but it never blooms long enough, just like you Theo. We miss you.”

She detailed the bench, “I pulled up a bench so I could sit down and have a cup of tea with her. Peanut sat here watching everything. He never sits down.”

Stacey signed off on the emotional post, calling her remaining pet Peanut “special” as she said he “really broke her heart” at Theo’s grave.
